Trained in Tokyo, Yoshi brought his craft to the United States in 1987. Over more than 35 years he has become one of the most sought-after hair artists in Beverly Hills.
He spent nearly 25 years at some of the city's most renowned salons, including Frédéric Fekkai, before opening Yoshi Hair Studio in the heart of Beverly Hills.
Celebrities and socialites seek Yoshi out for his face-framing cuts and precise short styles, each shaped to the client's face, lifestyle and personality. His work has appeared on television shows including America's Next Top Model and Basketball Wives LA, and at acclaimed fashion shows including American Vogue.
Yoshi's reputation reaches well beyond Los Angeles. He has been invited to Dubai on several occasions to work as a guest hair artist and to teach his cutting techniques to fellow stylists.
